It’s time to turn the page on 2017, welcome 2018 and congratulate and thank those who made it possible. We helped 62 families sell or buy homes this past year, more than we anticipated…business was up by 50% as we approach year 5. We educate beyond belief, advocate with authenticity and innovate with the latest trends. This means that we care for you and go the extra mile to create a stress free, smooth real estate experience! Our business was mostly referrals from friends, family and our strategic partners. Our agents are our ambassadors and thanks to them we have spread the word about the Cafe Realty brand and culture. Our newest team member, concluding his first full year with Cafe Realty, had an exemplary performance and helped a score plus more families sell or buy a home. Michael A. Tarallo is our #1 agent for 2017 and quickly becoming an expert in the industry. His business background and work ethic has shone through with every client whom he properly cared for with sound advice and detailed strategy. We added some new clients to our sphere this year, mostly from our marketing and branding efforts and we welcome you! As we continue to make a difference in our industry and community, we are in constant pursuit of new strategic partners. Some of our finer moments of 2017 include supporting various charity and events to strengthen our ties with the community. Carol Christiansen, Principal Broker, had a remarkable year involved with the Somers Lions, Somers Chamber of Commerce and most importantly Drug Crisis In Our Backyard. Walter Sadowski, Associate Broker actively supports both the Adaptive Sports and Cerebral Palsy Foundations. Elisa Bruno-Midili volunteered her time to TEDxTarrytown, Hilltop Hanover Farm and the Mount Kisco Arts Council and Chamber of Commerce. We care about our connection to the communities we serve, it is vital to understanding how and why our clients choose to live in one area over another. Our resource directory will assist you in discovering the Hudson Valley and all its glorious bounty. Sellers and buyers were delighted because they experienced world class service with quick response time and detailed follow up. We sold a farm for a family from Mahopac, as well as coops, condos and single family homes in Mount Kisco, and listed and sold homes in every corner of Somers including Granite Springs, Baldwin Place, Lincolndale, and Heritage Hills. Yorktown Heights, Cortlandt Manor, Peekskill, Mahopac, Carmel and Putnam Valley were also hot spots. We laughed and learned with sellers and buyers and worked diligently in partnership with attorneys, title companies, inspectors and others to insure that the transaction was safely delivered to the closing table. We started a Facebook page dedicated to the human side of real estate called Real People of Real Estate, bringing humanity back to real estate. We attended and sponsored various events for HGAR, DCIB, the Somers Lions, the Mount Kisco Arts Council and TEDxTarrytown. We had fun and were well educated through live events and webinars.
