It’s all very well saying that the Farm at Purdy’s Farmer and the Fish is committed to locally grown food, but how many times have you heard that from a restaurant? However, unlike most restaurants they have two unique assets. First they have access to 2 acres of land next to Farmer & the Fish and second, the chef/farmer/partner of Farmer and The Fish Michael studied agriculture at SUNY Cobleskill. Starting their own farm and producing really local food just makes sense. They want to keep visitors up-to-date with news about their farm and the produce they are growing, so come back again soon!
